Though each month’s adults only ADHD groups focus on a different topic; all follow the same format for each session and run for two hours.
All of our venues are fully accessible, and although attendees are encouraged to share their experiences if they would like to - there’s no pressure!
Similarly, there’s no pressure to be on time or stay for the duration.
All are welcome to sit comfortably, take some time out or move around during - so long as they do not disrupt the session
for other attendees. -
WELCOME
Attendees are welcomed to the group and setting by the volunteer facilitator
‘MOST ADHD THING’
Led by the facilitator, attendees who wish to are invited to share a ‘most ADHD thing’ story (just like on ADHD AF Podcast) as a non cringey ice-breaker and to eradicate shame.
TOPIC INTRO
The facilitator gives a brief introduction to that month’s focus topic
GROUP DISCUSSION ON TOPIC
The facilitator leads group discussion making sure all attendees (who wish to) have the space to share their experiences.GLIMMERS
A ‘glimmer’ is a micro-joy; we end each group on a happy note encoraging attendees to share something that has brought them joy.

No. ADHDAF+ supports ADHD adults at any stage in their diagnosis or discovery.
If you have or suspect you might have ADHD, you are very welcome.
If you would like to attend to learn how to support a loved one with ADHD, you are very welcome.
As long as you are over 18 and are respectful that the lens through which we understand ADHD is that of ADHD adults of marginalised genders, and therefore many groups will be more gender focussed and will be facilitated by an ADHD adult of marginalised gender -

Because ADHD assesments remain either a postcode lottery or paid-for privilege few can afford.
In some parts of the UK, without the right to choose option the waiting list is almost a decade long. In others, ADHD assessment waiting lists are closed all together.
